Fall’s Hottest Trend? The Snake Print Dress
Just call me Draco Malfoy, cause I be Slytherin…
That was corny AF, right? LOL. Oh well. Snake print is one of the hottest fall fashion trends – it’s basically replaced leopard as the one of THE go-to prints you can wear with just about anything (I still love leopard, and always will). And I LOVE IT.
Snake print, to me, is such a classic print. It reminds me of the iconic S/S 2000 Tom Ford for Gucci Python prints that I salivated over as a child, but was far too young to wear.
Lucky for us, trends always take a second, and sometimes third, turn around the sun before they’re permanently retired, and snakeskin is having it’s second wind. A snake print dress is a really great way to incorporate this print int wardrobe and you can wear it soooo many ways.
How to Wear a Plus Size Snake Print Dress
Because snake print has become some a staple, you can find a great snake print dress just about anywhere. For an affordable option, I was able to find a ton on Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing. Both stores routinely have great discount codes, and both have recently extended their sizing to 22+.
I bought this over-sized shirt dress from Boohoo and have worn is several times; to work, on dates, etc. It is super versatile and easy to style. For this look, I went super casual with an over-sized python print dress from Boohoo and my go-to, stretch OTK boots from UrbanOG. For casual looks like these, I always love to punch it up with an investment piece (looking to invest in a fashion piece; check out my post!). I added my Chanel WoC with silver hardware. The silver hardware make this classic piece super edgy and really fun. I finished it all up with a red lip and large silver hoop earrings.
You can also take this same dress (which is on sale at Boohoo right now!) and belt it, throw a blazer over it with some tights and wear it to work.
Grab A Snake Print Piece – it’s a Trend and a Staple
I know, I just said snake print is a trend, but it’s also a really good staple and to me, it’s a neutral, like black and beige. You can literally wear snake skin with any colour and during any season. I’m a huge fan of snake print and it’s definitely a trend you can take from the boardroom to the turn-up.
